Erna Nixon Park is a 53.93-acre community park known for its natural Florida hammock and nature preserve. The park features a 3,000-foot elevated boardwalk that winds through native Florida landscape, including evergreen shrubs, live oaks with hanging Spanish moss, and a variety of wildlife. Visitors may spot animals such as gopher tortoises, indigo snakes, pileated woodpeckers, and other native species. The park also includes a charming butterfly garden filled with native Florida plants and flowers.
